MUTUAL AID PARTNERS

Hall County ARES is proud to be partnered with many other professionally run Emergency Communications groups.  Through cooperation, planning and training we can ensure that the public interests are well served during a disaster.  While we will help any organization that we can in a time of need, by entering into written Mutual Aid Agreements, we can ensure that we are adequately prepared to help each other.  We have a simple one page document that conveys the intention of both parties to support each others mission.

Once documentation is initiated we can then begin written plans to support our partners before a disaster strikes instead of scrambling to play catch-up in the middle of an event.  Once plans are developed, they will be placed on our website for review and refinement.  This ensures access to the data by all parties and their operators.  If you are interested in partnering your group with Hall County ARES, just click on the contact tab and send a request to the Emergency Coordinator. We hope to network with every group in the North Georgia area so that adequate planning for mutual support can be implemented and resources can be shared during an event to better serve the community.

At present our mutual aid agreements give us potential access to over 300 emergency communicators.  We are working to increase our interoperability skills and integrate new ideas in emergency communications.  If you would like to partner your group with ours to help promote and improve the emcomm community just go to our contact page or discussion forums and let us know your interested.
