Hall ARES Served Agencies
Hall County Emergency Management Agency
The Hall County ARES primary served agency is our local Emergency Management Agency. We maintain a highly functional amateur radio communications facility that is operated under the call sign WE4EOC just one door away from the Incident Command Center. We provide backup communications for the 911 center and Fire Services from this facility. During severe weather events we run the Counties Skywarn nets from this station and feed real-time data from our trained spotters directly to the EMA personnel.
Northeast Georgia Mountains Medical Reserve Corps
The Northeast Georgia MRC serves the citizens of thirteen Northeast Georgia counties in the event of a community level medical emergency. In the event of an emergency Hall County ARES along with the ARES groups in all applicable counties aid in communications for the NGMNRCto ensure that they are able to serve the health needs of the community no matter what the state of the communications infrastructure may be.
Northeast Georgia Health System, Inc.

We are proud to be able to assist them in their mission
GEMA's mission is to provide a comprehensive and aggressive all-hazards approach to mitigation, preparedness, response, recovery and special events. SKYWARN® storm spotters are part of the ranks of citizens who form the Nation's first line of defense against severe weather. There can be no finer reward than to know that their efforts have given communities the precious gift of time--seconds and minutes that can help save lives. Hall ARES has been tasked with the responsibility of coordinating all Hall County SKYWARN® storm spotters whether they are amateur radio operators or not.
Through a Memorandum of Understanding between our parent organization the American Radio Relay League, ARES is proud to assist the American Red Cross with their emergency communications in the event of a disaster.
